The Kentucky Wildcats came out cold after their unexpectedly delayed first SEC Tournament game. Scoreless in the first few minutes Joe Crawford finally knocked the lid off of the basket with a three pointer at the 15:50 mark of the first half. With 13:30 to play in the first half Georgia leads 14-3. Kentucky seems to be relying too heavily on the three pointer. Meanwhile thousands of 'Cats fans who made the trip to Atlanta are shut out. Only family, friends, cheerleaders, bands and media are inside for the game. It's a bizarre environment. Having said that, somehow the 'Cats seem to have more family and friends than Georgia. Interesting, in the heart of Georgia. I guess that's what we've learned to expect from big blue nation. |
