A back and forth game in Anaheim California has Marquette leading Kentucky 33-29 at halftime. Kentucky got out to a quick start but then cooled down aobut five minutes into the half. At that point Marquette went on a 12-0 run to take a 16-10 lead. The Wildcats had a tough time stopping penetration from the Golden Eagle guards. Coach Billy Gillispie made some adjustments, and the Wildcats got back on track in the final 10 minutes of the half. Joe Crawford leads all scorers with 15 points. Crawford also brought the biggest roar from the crowd in the first period with a dunk on a pass from Ramel Bradley. It doessn't.look like either team is going to win this game going away, so hold on to your seat, it's going down to the wire.. |
