Thought I would post a recent e-mail exchange here..... -----Original Message----- Joe, The J'Town Police Department forwarded their investigation to the Commonwealth Attorney about two months ago. However, at that same time, Darren Pickerill's family indicated that he was making an amazing recovery and might be able to give his side of the story. But, at this time, he is not yet able to do that, so the case is on hold until the Pickerill attorney indicates either that Darren can be interviewed or that the case should go on without that interview. I have been trying to get updates from the family, but since Darren's recovery started, their attorney apparantly has asked them not to speak to the media, which makes updating this case difficult. I call J'Town Chief Rick Sanders and the Commonwealth's Attorney's office every couple of weeks to check on any progress, so as soon as there is movement, I will pass that along. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

An Initial arrest should have been made simply because of the use of a GUN
Regardless of his haveing Been a police officer it was still a shooting !
With the darkened windows how could the former officer have seen a gun in the console, What was the officer doing approaching the vehicle with a gun in his hand anyway ! seems to have been inviting an altercation
What is HIS wife saying anyway ! Like to do a Re-Enactment of this case ! Just how much can you see through Darkened windows of an automobile, And who was
the assailant
