I do the usual things like lower the thermostat, make sure all doors are completely closed reduse drafts under doors etc. I know that the heat will still run and cost money so I try to conserve electricity to make up some of the difference. I didn't realize that my computer used a lot of electricity, so I now turn it off at night. Also phone chargers plugged in drain electricity even when your phone isn't being charged.

I agree with Karen Mullins above. The company has no copetitors.

i heard the reason for the high gas bills is not for the reason of high gas but because lg&e have to move because of the arena.

I would like to know what is being done to regulate the charges that are being applied to residents of Louisville by LG&E. Jumping prices by 60%? Are they also raising salaries by that much to compensate? (I think not!)

Kirby i really do not see anything helping save on heating bills, they will charge what they want regardless. I don't know what our elderly or people on fixed incomes will do. I don't think they care as long as they get paid.
