| Indiana Supreme Court Grants Request for Deadline Extension »
Today is the deadline for Warrick County Superior Court to file a transcript of the two-month-long David Camm trial with the Indiana Supreme Court. As of 4:00 this afternoon, EST, a Warrick County clerk says that transcript is not complete. They do not expect to complete it by the end of the day. A motion has been filed with the Indiana Supreme Court requesting that the deadline be extended to the end of business hours on Monday. It is not yet known if that motion has been granted or if the Warrick County court will be penalized for their inability to meet the deadline. Once the transcript has been submitted, Camm's attorneys will have 30 days to file their appelate brief outlining their arguments for why Camm's guilty verdicts should be reversed. |
