Camm Supporters Launch New Web Site

For those of you who didn't see Joe Arnold's piece this afternoon, supporters of David Camm have launched a Web site: www.JusticeForDavidCamm.com, on which they plan to make their case for why they feel Camm's guilty verdicts should be reversed, overturned or dismissed. Today was the deadline for David Camm's attorneys to file their appelate brief -- essentially the "bible" that would contain all of the arguments they would bring before the Indiana Supreme Court to sway the justices to overturn or reverse the guilty verdict in Camm's second trial.

But that time has passed and no brief has been forthcoming.

The court has granted Camm's attorneys another extension. The brief is now due Oct. 12....

Over the weekend, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) awarded WHAS-11 with a regional Emmy award for their breaking news television coverage of the David Camm verdict.

The announcement took place at the NATAS Ohio Valley Chapter Regional Emmy Awards ceremony. Specifically, the award went to Reporter Kerri Richardson, Producer Laci Comer, Executive Producer Wes Finley and Assistant News Director Caroline Imler.<...
