Ira Cronin | Blitzing with new technology

This week during the Friday Night Blitz came yet another reminder that I am getting old and I’m not nearly as hip and as I think.

A couple of e-mails came into the show with a funky looking e-mail address which I was informed after the show, were text messages. I find this so cool on many levels. First that technology is to the point where people can be part of the show no matter where they are, and the fact that people are beginning to do so is also very exciting to me.

We want the Friday Night Blitz to be part of your High School Football experience all week long, and especially on Friday night, obviously. Whether you’re getting score updates or sending them to us through the night or if you’re e-mailing or text messaging Langston and I during the show so we can get you the information you are looking for! So keep it up and special thanks to those who used this cool technology of Friday night.

It’s going to be another great Friday night this week! A major showdown between Country Day and Latin is our game of the week. The Hawks are undefeated, while the Buccaneers have just 2 losses. It’s just one of the many games that we will have covered for you.

See you on the Blitz!
Ira
