Panthers Coach John Fox made the only call he could on Monday declaring that the starting QB job "will be evaluated" this week. Fox and his staff will make the choice that gives Carolina the "best chance to win." Fox said that no one has much confidence in the Panthers passing game right now and that has to change. Fox also said (in his own way) that the Panthers are seeing the same looks from defenses as they take advantage of the passing game issues. Carolina starts the week -14 in turnover margin, and Fox said it best when he said given that number "we're probably lucky to be 2-4." 4 CommentsLeave a comment |
I have faith in Jake Delhomme!! What the panthers need is an offensive coordinator. If you look at the type of plays we are calling. We are not aggressive at all, we are satisfied with an 3 point lead. When we it go and change it up. For once take the lead and run. We wait to the fourth quather to try to make a comeback thats a piss poor offensive coordinator. They will make the Playoffs and if we change out play calling. and go for the end zone. The way all 3 tight ends are play and try to get Muhsin Muhammad involved more and it will free up Steve Smith. Always remember NEVER SAY NEVER!! ITS NOT OVER UNTIL THE FAT LADY SING!!!!!!!!
Take Jake. Use Moore more. It's easy as that and im 13.
It's a given Jake isn't our best option at QB. But do you really think Matt Moore is ready to take that giant leap? I say put A.J. Feeley in for the rest of the season.
Maybe Jake needs some time to evaluate his place on this team. Sit him and lets find out who else we have. Feeley is obviously just a one-term QB. Get Moore some time and lets see if he is worth keeping. If not, we can open up some money for a good draft pick with three QB salaries to put toward one. If Peppers leaves next year, there is some more. If we are scoring, our defence will survive without him.
