We will continue to be the most accurate forecast in the Carolinas and the first to warn you of severe weather. We know how crazy and scary severe weather can be, so we cover it as a team in the storm center and inside the storm from Storm Chaser.

On those great Carolina weather days, our job doesn't stop. You will still be getting the most local and detailed forecast in the region. Combine our forecasting and severe weather philosophy with the latest in technology like Live First Warn Doppler radar and First Warn Stormvue, and we can dissect storms and let you know when and where severe weather will hit.

I like the new First Warn name. But why the change? Is this purley a cosmetic change or has there been an upgrade to the radar?
