Hey Mike! I just wanted to let you know that I am one of your biggest fans. I love down home, friendly and wholesome news. I am a Carolina girl to the core. I have never written a "fan mail" before so I’m not sure what all I am supposed to say. Anyways, I will be watching on Saturdays, Tricia R

Here’s what to write in a fan mail:
“Mike, you’re amazing and great! Your writing is so good it ruins all the other TV shows I try to watch. You’re the Hemmingway of local TV. I dressed up as you for Halloween and couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror. I’m wonderful… er, I mean you are.”
So there you have it. Pretty much a standard issue fan mail.

CONGRATULATIONS, MIKE AND ANDY!
Your new season of Carolina Traveler came across fantastic. I believe it is the best show you have ever done. I loved all of them, but I am partial to the last segment. You told the story on The Pet Caskets as no one else could. The layout was superb, and the background music? Well let me just say it was right on the money. Thanks again for doing the show!

Mike,
I was extremely touched by your story on the autistic children surfing. I cried until the lady said something about the kid drinking someone else’s drink. Then I laughed because it is so true. My son is 5 and has Autism. It was the most wonderful story and helps others understand the disability a little better. Maybe we won’t get as many looks suggesting, "What is wrong with that kid?"
