I hope you all got to see at least a few minutes of the morning newscast. Work is work is work but some days this job is really fun.

As many of you know, Larry Sprinkle is known for bringing in a few members of the extended Sprinkle clan to work with him on Halloween. Of course, the most famous of the group is second cousin twice removed, Buck.

If you’ve been missing him, we found out he’s been on a “book tour” the past year. He’s literally been traveling the country with his 1998 World Almanac. He, of course, didn’t write it. He’s just traveling with it. Think about that one.

Along with a few classic characters like Buck and Count Sprinkula, this year we got a visit from an even more tricked out Elvis. Larry, I mean Elvis, has this act down. From the hair to the outfit, he is a self proclaimed hunk a burning love.

A far cry from Elvis, The British/Australian Prognosticator Mr. Pipkin stopped by next with some great advice and REAL skill for figuring out the seven day outlook. He’s new in the lineup and he needs to become a regular. Mr. Pipkin also brought gifts. I got a pair of flip flops for my apparent “stinky” feet. Colleen got a hole puncher. Apparently, she punches a lot of holes and really needs a new puncher.

Finally, I was so glad to see my favorite guy from years past, North Dakota Native, Mack Mullet. He wears a Member’s Only jacket, and represents for those who just can’t say goodbye to the 1980’s staple, the mullet. Colleen always describes it as business on the top, and party in the back.

Larry Lemon paid a visit to the newscast and Tornada filled in for Larry.

Long description short, this is pretty funny stuff. If you need a good laugh today, click on the links above. And join us weekdays from 5 to 7 am. We have a good time, and in between the sometimes depressing headlines of the day, I think it shows.

I tuned in during Mack Mullet and laughed my head off! I had no idea who "Mack" was and didn't know Larry was so talented. Thanks for livening up my morning and letting him have some fun. I enjoyed it. Please pass on the pat on the back.

I have watched your morning newscast for several years now and I always look forward to your Halloween show! Larry's characters are so entertaining and delightful. It always sets the tone for my day and yesterday, as I was trying to get ready for work, I found myself laughing out loud, at times hysterically. Now that's a trick while your putting on mascara! Thank you so much for making my mornings brighter. Life is too hard and too serious as it is and your show and the laughter that you bring into our homes is so appreciated!
