The battle of some of the most popular television reality stars begins Tuesday night on NBC’s Fear Factor, but it’s video of a fight with the show’s host that has people talking.
Johnny "Fairplay" Dalton and Twila Tanner from “Survivor”, Anthony Fedorov and Carmen Rasmusen from “American Idol”, Victoria Fuller and Jonathan “The Amazing Race”, Craig Williams and Tana Goertz from “The Apprentice” and Mike "The Miz" Mizanin and Trishelle Cannatella from “The Real World” all compete for $150,000 on Fear Factor.
The episode, which airs Wednesday night at 8 on NBC, begins with an all-out demolition derby. The men drive the cars while the women do the shifting. The last car running wins.

The final stunt is what brought the fireworks. Each team must collect three skulls hidden in various places around a swamp. You’ll have to watch the show to find out exactly what happens, but apparently Johnny Fairplay does something that upsets Victoria. She walks over to Johnny Fairplay pointing her two fingers and says obscenities and then punches him.
“Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing?” the show’s host Joe Rogan asks. “What are you doing? You can’t assault people. What are you doing?”
Victoria replies by yelling to Johnny Fairplay, “Well you’re an (obscenity) Johnny.”
“It’s called strategy, he’s yelling out at you,” Joe says.
“That’s not a strategy,” Victoria replies.
“You can't run up to him and hit him,” Joe says.
They cut to clip of Johnny Fairplay explaining that he has ruffled a few feathers in the past.
“Victoria might have been the most agitated I’ve ever made anyone. She punched me as hard as she could. I mean, she held nothing back and knocked me back.”
The clip then shows Joe saying to Victoria, “Look, if you and your husband hit each other that’s one thing. But you don’t run up and hit other contestants.”
Then Victoria’s husband Jonathan steps in to defend Victoria.
“Hey, hey, hey,” he says Joe.
“No, hey, hey, hey,” Joe responds as the two are face to face.
Jonathan gets into Joe’s face and gets too close and a scuffle breaks out. The clip doesn’t show what exactly happened. We don’t know if any punches were thrown or who lunged at who first, but the next thing you know is Joe has Jonathan by the neck. Mke from “The Real World” breaks up the fight.
And the topper of it all? Johnny Fairplay seemed to love every moment of it. Laughing he says, “This is the greatest reality show ever.”
Poor Joe. Shame on a person who hosts a show of any kind which does not control him or herself. This is just Bizarre behavior for a TV host of any kind.
Joe would kick that dudes butt. Joe is experienced in martial arts. The position Joe had him in was a great position for a knee combo and then throw him in the river. No contest.
I simply can't wait to see the footage!
Hey guys ... its TELEVISION! very well produced/silently written scene.
Outstanding! Joe would pummel that guy.
Please - did you see Jonathan and Victoria on the Amazing Race? I can't believe television stations would tolerate that kind of behavior and even give them additional 15 minutes of fame.
I was waiting for Joe to toss his but to the ground and continue the show.
A new low for the idiot box. Is this what America really wants to see? No wonder I don't watch as much TV as I once did.
All I can say is I'm thankful for DVD's.
MJ
I HOPE THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AN EXAMPLE OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP FOR OUR KIDS.IT ONLY SHOWSGREED& WHAT PEOPLE DO FOR MONEY. IT SHOULD NOT BE GIVE AIRTIME.
Why is this news? None of these shows are "reality," the only thing real about them is that some guy with a degree in creative writing from Harvard wrote this scene. You've gotta be a moron to actually think "reality" TV is "real" at all. Get a life people...and to the TV execs...STOP MAKING SO MANY CRAPPY REALITY TV SHOWS.....it's an old and played out genre now...get something new.
I watched it just to see the confrontation! I would have ejected the "amazing" pair just as soon as she walked up to Jonny Fairplay and punched him. Taunting is fine with me - all the contestants do it -- some do it better! Victoria and Jonathan just couldn't take the pressure of the stunt or the pressure from the taunting. The lost all concentration! I think Joe handled himself perfectly. We have no idea what happened in the few unseen seconds - But it's my guess that Joe did not lash out @ Jonathan first.
Poor Joe..? Please...
Poor Joe is making a nice wad of cash hosting a scripted reality show and "Oh my! What's this!?" a fellow realit-ee jumps script (maybe?) and acts a little off. Oh, what a hard job Joe has...having to think on his feet and all.
However I do have to agree with BigPimp...other than the obvious ratings, why did they hire back these two nutbags? Remember folks, if you don't watch it the fake people will go away. Stop feeding the beasts.
All I need to know is who do I make my check out to for that...I could have wrote that scene a helluva lot better...Rogan would have wasted his %#@! and that worthless wife of Jonathan's...
If Joe Rogan had punched his lights out he would have deserved. However, Victoria punched the wrong person. She should have punched Jonathan for all the ugly things he was saying to her. It was called for any in situation
I saw it and I wish they would have showed the entire fight from start to finish. If they want to show reality tv then they gotta show what really happens. I was glad to see Joe react instead of letting this idiot get away with what he did. I hope Jonathon doesn't act like a bigger butt and sue NBC. I think he will lose like he did last night. What a LOSER!! Him and his wife.
Idiot Box? That's what my parents called it. We never had one while I was growing up. I now know why.
well at least anthony fedorov stayed out of it and stood there looking hot the whole time!
