The Grammy award winning singer performed Wednesday night Ovens Auditorium in front of a sold out crowd. The producer walked into the restaurant around 4 a.m. and noticed a buzz in the air. Everyone was talking about the singer eating the corner. The producer looked up and saw Kelly sitting at a table surrounded by a dozen or so people. The producer left and called the station. A short time later a 6NEWS photographer arrived at IHOP in an unmarked news van to get some video. He went inside without a camera and identified himself to an IHOP employee. The employee could not confirm or deny that Kelly was dining in the restaurant. The photographer went outside and set up his camera in the parking lot to get video of the singer as he left the restaurant. A few minutes later a man associated with Kelly walked up. “What’s this?” he said pointing to the camera. The photographer explained who he was and who he was with. The man said there would be no interviews or pictures of the star. The photographer figured it wasn’t worth a confrontation so he got in his vehicle and left. 5 CommentsLeave a comment |
Can a man, regardles as to who he is, sit down and have a meal in a public resturant without being put in the spotlight.
Big quesiton, what was the producer doing up at 4AM, hmm, maybe that was a story in itself.
"Everyone was talking about the singer EATING THE CORNER."?? Talk about a buzz!!! : )
to clarify - the producer's shift began at 4am... so that's why she was up. nothing scandalous!
It really doesn't matter who he is, he really should have the right to eat in privacy. The man obviously wasn't trying to create a story, just eat in peace. Doesn't everyone have that right?
