The site was formed in 2004 and it encourages viewers to vote for the worst singer on Fox’s hit show ‘American Idol’. But now that Kevin is gone, I’m worried. Albemarle sweetheart Kellie Pickler, who gave an outstanding performance Tuesday night with Patsy Cline’s "Walkin' After Midnight", seems next on the list. The site boasts “Don’t worry Pickler, if Kevin goes home, we’ll be back”. According to Nielsen Media Research, 33.2 million viewers tuned in to watch Wednesday’s two hour broadcast. With that many viewers, VFTW is bound to have some success. In Season 4 the site claims they helped keep Janay Castine and Scott Savol on the show. While I don’t think Pickler is worthy of the ‘American Idol’ title, I do think she’s good enough to stick around a few more weeks.
