Travis Stork, the doctor, chose Sarah Stone, the elementary school teacher. In a joint interview, Stork and Stone told The Tennessean newspaper that the romance is over and the fantasy of Paris didn’t quite mesh with the reality of Nashville. They also say the show's rules that kept them from dating or being together in public until the finale aired was just too hard on their relationship. I e-mailed the girls to voice my disappointment over the split. One lost a bet and owes a bottle of wine and another replied, “Girls, I just don’t understand how a search for one’s true soul mate set against the idyllic backdrop of a Parisian mansion complete with limos, dinners, trips to the French Riviera, and unlimited champagne doesn’t translate into a solid, long lasting relationship in the real world!!” And to think...I got all huffy when I got called away from the television for work just as Travis was about to announce his pick. I guess I'm just another sucker in the whole "reality" show craze. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |
I suppose watching your "boyfriend" making out with other girls on tv while being away from him 4 months is just a little much to ask anyone to withstand. I'm assuming this was the "baggage" Sarah referred to
It's all a hype. This show is all about getting that 15 minutes of fame or hoping you may be "discovered" by Hollywood. These girls are pretty enough to get dates on their own. Why else would they want to be on national TV and risk the chance of being humiliated.
