Torii Hunter's two-run single in the top of the eighth inning tied last night's game at 2-2, giving the Angels the momentum that they could not convert into a victory. The fans were chanting Hunter's name before the hit, trying to get under his skin. Here's what the veteran outfielder, who isn't a big fan of Boston in general, had to say to the fans after the game: "Thanks for waking up the sleeping dog. They were chanting my name; I shut them up quick. I'm glad. I tell you what, I got shut up quick the next inning, walking off the field." 1 CommentsLeave a comment |
