Those insightful sports reporters at the Inside Track revealed today word from one of their anonymous sources that Alex Rodriguez was very eager for Friday night's Red Sox-Yankees game to be rained out so that he could meet disabled Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for a dinner in Boston. The game wasn't rained out -- in fact it went very late, with the Yankees collecting a meaningless, 19-8 win. The Track also reports unsubstantiated rumors that Brady and Gisele Bunchen might be ready to get married soon, and I have to give them credit for directing me to a Los Angeles Times column by former head Patriots cheerleader and Playboy model Lisa Guerrero, who ripped into New England fans for bailing on the team during its ugly loss to the Dolphins.

Like I really care what an ex-cheerleader who poses for playboy thinks about what I do as a fan during a blowout game. If she is so concerned put the cheerleader outfit back on and come and support the team.
