Peter Manfredo Jr. gets another world title shot

PROVIDENCE -- Providence boxer Peter Manfredo Jr. (31-5, 16 KOs), star of The Contender I television series, will fight The Contender season three winner Sakio Bika (26-3-2, 16 KOs) on Nov. 13 at the Dunkin Donuts Center for the vacant International Boxing Organization super middleweight title, according to his father, Peter Manfredo Sr.

Manfredo Jr. is coming off a big second round technical knockout victory over Donnie McCrary (24-7-2) to win the North American Boxing Federation belt. Manfredo has knocked out his last three oponnents since losing on points to former IBO super middleweight title-holder Jeff Lacy (24-1, 17 KOs).

Bika has won his last four fights.
