On a beautiful day in August, the talk in the URI athletic department today was about men's basketball.

In late afternoon, the Atlantic 10 announced the conference schedule for this winter. We told everyone about that a couple hours ago.

This evening, the school has released its non-conference games, too. Well, all but one game. The Rams are still one game short. The team is hoping that will be a home-and-home with Virginia Commonwealth.

Rather than wait for that one to be finalized, the school announced all other non-conference games, headlined by a trip to Duke and participation in two tournaments, one in Oklahoma City and one in Philadelphia.
