2 former Baby Bruins sign deals with NHL teams

Landon Wilson and Keith Aucoin, two former Providence Bruins, signed contracts with NHL teams today.

Right wing Wilson, a key member of Providence's 1999 Calder Cup championship, signed with the Dallas Stars.

Wilson, 33, played the last four seasons in Europe. The son of Dallas assistant coach Rick Wilson, he has played for Colorado, Boston, Phoenix and Pittsburgh in the NHL.

The Washington Capitals signed free-agent center Keith Aucoin to a two-year deal.

Aucoin, 29, split last season between the Carolina Hurricanes and the AHL's Albany River Rats. He played 38 games for Carolina, scoring five goals with eight assists.

He played two seasons with Providence. In 2002-03, he posted a 25-49-74 scoring line, while in 04-05 his numbers were 21-45-66.
