BOSTON -- We're here at the Garden getting ready for Game Two of the NBA Finals.
The focus leading into the game tonight is who -- and who would not -- be playing. Right now no one is on the floor so we can't provide any updates, but the word is Paul Pierce will certainly play with his sore right knee. Center Kendrick Perkins, however, is struggling with his sprained ankle. P.J. Brown would be in line for extensive duty if Perkins is limited.
The Lakers have an injury issue of their own but it's shrouded in a bit of mystery. Lamar Odom did not take part in a light practice Saturday. Asked what his issue was, the ex-Rhody Ram said, "Teacher's pet today. I've got a couple parts of my body that just need to heal up a little bit, that's it."
What body parts, exactly?
"I can't tell you, man. (The Celtics) might attack it."
Thanks, Lamar.
We'll be back with lineup updates and also info from pregame interviews and a press conference with NBA commish David Stern.
