Two local players selected in MLS SuperDraft
Two local college soccer players were taken in Friday's MLS SuperDraft.
Brown defenseman Matthew Britner was taken with the 41st pick by the New England Revolution and URI midfielder Geoff Cameron was taken with the 42nd pick by the Houston Dynamo.
Britner was the 2007 Ivy League Player of the Year and a third-team All-American.
Cameron, who is from Attleboro, Mass., was the 2007 Atlantic-10 Midfielder of the Year and a All-Mid Atlantic Region first-team selection.
