COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today that it has narrowed the list of potential sites to host the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Men's Under-18 Championship to Providence, Fargo, N.D., and St. Cloud, Minn. The 2009 IIHF World Men's Under-18 Championship, which includes 10 teams, is tentatively slated for April 9-19, 2009, and includes the top players in the world under the age of 18. It will mark the first time the event has ever been staged in the United States. |
