DIVISION II FOOTBALL: South Kingstown 25, Toll Gate 13
CRANSTON -- Sean Hamill scored two touchdowns and lineman Michael Rayta had the clincher on a pass interception and return as South Kingstown downed Toll Gate, 25-13, in the Division II Super Bowl today at Cranston Stadium.
Toll Gate dominated the first half and led, 6-0, at the break. The momentum changed completely in the second half. The Rebels took control behind the running of Hamill, Josh Ponte and Tim Hazard and scored 19 straight points.
After Toll Gate closed to 19-13 and got the ball back, Rayta clinched it when he picked off a screen pass and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown.
