Will Daniels of URI blocks the shot of Brown's Chris Skrelja.
Will Daniels scored 26 points, but it was more great work by the bench brigade that keyed URI to a 75-61 victory over Brown tonight at the Pizzitola Center.
Brown jumped to a quick 14-3 lead as it hit five of its first six shots. But once Keith Cothran and Lamonte Ulmer entered the game, Rhody used its speed to take control. Cothran had 10 first-half point helping his team build a 39-28 advantage at the break. Cothran finished with 17 points and Ulmer 12. Scott Friske led Brown with 13.
We'll have a gallery of game photos tomorrow on projoSports.
