URI runs away from Stonehill
URI shook off a sluggish defensive first half and ran away from the Stonehill Hawks tonight at the Ryan Center, 107-69.
Will Daniels led the way with an impressive 31 points, including 4-of-4 on threes. Jimmy Baron added 21 and Parfait Bitee chalked up 14 points and 11 assists.
URI led 54-50 with with 14 minutes left and then cranked its attack into high gear. The key was much better defense and a blitzkrieg offensive attack that led to a 55-26 second half advantage.
More on the Rams in Friday's Journal.
