URI falls short against Boston College

The Boston College Eagles out-fought the Rhody Rams today at the Conte Forum, 76-72. Click here to see the box score from projo Stats.
The game went back and forth for the last 11 minutes of the second half. BC didn't open much room until a Rakim Sanders 3-point shot made it 75-70 with 1:07 left. Will Daniels scored quickly for the Rams but a BC turnover with gave URI hope. However Keith Cothran missed the front end of a 1-and-1 and Shamari Spears made a free throw to make it 76-72 with 14 seconds left.
Sanders scored 21 points for BC while Tyrese Rice added 24. Daniels led URI with 25 points.
