Bad boys make for good ratings
Don Imus is back. (Like that's a big surprise.)
Less than a year after he became a pariah at CBS for his callous comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team, Imus has been hired -- at $5 million annually -- by Citadel Broadcasting. His show will air on WABC, New York, starting in early December.
Gee, and I thought his next gig would be as color analyst on the broadcasts of the Scarlet Knights' women's hoops games.
It's not unlike our own, beloved Buddy Cianci, who walks out of the penitentiary and into gigs on both radio and television.
How can you not love America?
