The NFL issued a memo to the entire league this year stating that taping defensive signals was prohibited. This is to say that this is a league-wide problem, not a Patriots problem. Shame on the Pats for ignoring the memo and pushing the envelope, but it is obvious that other teams have conducted this practice as well---or the memo wouldn't be issued league-wide. Part of the NFL's legacy and culture involves rule interpretations and coaches seeking an edge. Ho-hum. The Patriots still go all the way this year. Interestingly, the rogue camera man was caught at the half---before Hobbs' kickoff return and Moss's 51-yard touchdown grab, when he beat THREE defenders. This camera issue isn't what people think it is.
