The Cranston Western Little League team dropped a 3-1 decision to Shelton, Conn., yesterday and fell to 0-3 in pool play of the New England Regional Tournament in Bristol, Conn. Shelton broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The loss eliminated Cranston’s chances of advancing to tomorrow’s semifinal round. Shelton (3-1), Walpole, Mass.
