Beckham not in the lineup for Galaxy tonight

Plagued all season by an ankle injury, the L.A. Galaxy's highly-acclaimed David Beckham will not play in tonight's game against the New England Revolution.

He made his MLS debut last Thursday against D.C. United, but said Saturday that his ankle had ``flared'' up after playing and did not know if he would be ready to go tonight.
