Buchholz shines but PawSox lose
Clay Buchholz was solid in his second outing for Pawtucket. He struckout 10 batters and scattered three hits in five innings of work, allowing two runs, but the PawSox lost, 11-1, to Louisville.
Louisville scored six runs on six hits in the top of the sixth inning off of Pawtucket relief pitcher Barry Hertzler.
Kevin Cash led Pawtucket at the plate by going 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Teammate Zach Borowiak was 1-for-2 with a double, 2 walks, and a RBI.
