Walking the course
We just came in from a walk out to the par-4 sixth with Paul Kenyon, where we watched four of the five groups.
The new tee makes it nearly impossible to drive the green; the old tee placement was such that players in this tournament often tried to drive the green, which made for some fun watching.
But there were still some moments out there. Lee Trevino put his approach about four inches from the pin, and tapped it in for birdie. Brad Faxon had a hole he'd like to forget, putting his tee shot in the right rough and then beaching his approach.
