UPDATED: Making the turn: Day 2
Teams are starting to make the turn here at the Charity Classic, and the first group struggled -- at least for PGA pros -- on the front nine.
The team of K.J. Choi and Jesper Parnevik have just one birdie, for a 35 on the front nine and total score of 4-under. Peter Jacobsen and Sean O'Hair bogeyed the third before getting back-to-back birdies at eight and nine to also card a 35. Jacobson and O'Hair are minus-5.
Both teams are threatening to set a new worst score at this event: in 2000, the teams of Mark Calcavecchia-Andrew Magee and Jeff Sluman-Hal Sutton tied for last place at minus-8, and Billy Andrade-Arnold Palmer also posted an 8-under in 2005.
Billy Andrade and Lee Trevino did very well on the front nine, including an eagle on eight, lowering their score from 5-under to 11-under with a 30.
David Toms-Trevor Immelman shots a 4-under 32 and are now at minus-10. They also had an eagle on the eighth.
Two-time champion Chris DiMarco and partner Camilo Villegas posted four birdies on the front, including Villegas' effort on two, and are minus-14.
Brad Faxon-Zach Johnson are minus-14 through seven.
Stewart Cink-J.J. Henry and Brett and Dana Quigley both are at minus-13.
