Pats sign long snapper
The New England Patriots signed long snapper Tony Case on Wednesday.
Case, who originally signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in April 2004 out of Adams State in Colorado, has not played in the NFL. The Bills released him the following June and he worked the last two seasons coaching offensive linemen and line snappers at Chadron State in Nebraska.
The Patriots also have long snapper Lonie Paxton, who has handled that position for them for the last seven seasons.
