Bucks end skid with win over Celtics
Charlie Bell scored 24 points and Dan Gadzuric added a season-high 21 points and 11 rebounds to help the Milwaukee Bucks snap a four-game losing streak with a 104-102 win over the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
Ruben Patterson scored 21 points and Earl Boykins had 15 for the Bucks, who have only two wins in their past 13 games — both against the Celtics.
Boston climbed back from a 14-point third-quarter deficit to pull within two in the closing seconds, but Sebastian Telfair missed a long jumper at the buzzer.
Gerald Green led Boston with 21 points. Leon Powe had 18 points and Ryan Gomes added 13 for the Celtics, who lost their sixth straight to clinch the worst record in the Eastern Conference and second worst in the league.
The Bucks scored the first seven points and never trailed, extending the lead to 56-43 by halftime.
