Paul Pierce to miss tonight's game

Paul Pierce will not suit up for tonight's game against the Philadelphia Sixers and team officials list the Celtics star as day-to-day. He could return on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Team spokesman Jeff Twiss said the Celtics captain was not shutting it down for the rest of the season.
