NESN to explore Providence's hockey history

Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. NESN’s Rubber Biscuit debuts the "Providence Show” with host Rob Simpson taking a look at the past, present and future of minor league hockey in Providence.
The Biscuit covers a P-Bruins game night, profiles the man behind the bench, Providence head coach Scott “Flash” Gordon and delves into the storied history of Providence minor league hockey and the growing popularity of the 640-member Rhode Island Reds Heritage Society and the “Reds Night” held at “The Dunk” last month.
Reds alumni, dating back to the 1930s, share their stories of what it was like being a part of that organization and what Providence was like as a hockey town back in their playing days.
