Follow the local college basketball teams today
There are places on the Web where you can keep track of some of the local basketball teams competing in tournament action today.
URI, of course, will be on television tonight at 6 o'clock (ESPN) when it plays George Washington for the Atlantic 10 championship and an automatic NCAA berth. If you can't get to a television, URI's Web site allows you to follow the game via Gametracker.
You can watch the RIC-Amherst game -- the winner of which goes to the NCAA Division III Final Four -- on the Web via the RIC web site, beginning at 7 p.m.
The first 200 people to sign up can watch the Bryant-Adelphi game in the NCAA Division III tournament for free via the Bryant Web site. That game starts at noon.
No Webcasting is available on the CCRI-Harcum game for the NJCAA Division II Northeast District championship. If you want to see it in person, it's at CCRI beginning at 1 p.m.
We'll post scores and accounts of all the games right here when they arrive.
