Dillon update
According to the New England Patriots website, Corey Dillon’s agent Steve Feldman spoke today on WSKO Radio (Providence’s late afternoon show) and said the Patriots have agreed to release the veteran running back on March 2 - the first day of the NFL’s free agency period.
This comes after The Boston Globe reported Friday morning that Dillon asked the Patriots for his release so he can announce his retirement. Meanwhile, The Boston Herald quoted Feldman as saying Dillon has indeed asked to be released but it’s not definite whether or not he will retire. Either way, it looks like Dillon’s career with the Patriots could come to an end next week.

Sorry Cory, you had a great impact here, but a west coast type offense is taking shape (if the recievers show up?)and blocking for Brady with a run now and then is how it is. Plus, Maroney needs the reps too (though he's got plenty to prove yet).
You've been, and still are a great power runner. The Pat's are working on getting younger also. Best of luck.
