...In February I was warned that if I didn't take dialysis I wouldn't survive more than two or three weeks. Some of that publicity: The Final Days of Art Buchwald: A Visit by Suzette Martinez Standring, March 03, 2006. But that was then. Now, well... Hallelujah, Art Buchwald. Not many patients get advised by their doctors to leave hospice for Martha's Vineyard. On the other hand, it sounds like a good gig he has going, right there.
