Pisano to be inducted into NEWAA Hall of Fame

Jason Pisano of West Warwick will be inducted into the New England Wheelchair Athletic Association Hall of Fame, tonight at 6 at the Mass Hospital School in Canton, Mass.

Communicating through e-mail, Pisano - who has cerebral palsy and competes in a wheelchair, pushing himself backward with one foot - shares his thoughts on his induction:
I'm thrilled. I think every athlete dreams of a honor like this.. I came a long way from my first 5K.. I have had many honors bestowed on me but this ranks right behind the 2 world tittles I won in 2005 . The only thing left to accomplish is completing the 51 career marathon. I'm looking forward to Sat. Little excited & a little nervous, but
