As the Republicans adjust their schedule for their convention to cope with Hurricane Gustav's, you can keep up with the latest by checking projo.com's home page under the headline Campaign 2008. We're also expecting Journal Washington bureau chief John E. Mulligan to continue his convention blog reports, this time from St. Paul, Minn. (Mulligan, a veteran political reporter, had previously blogged from the Democratic gathering in Denver.) Also in St. Paul will be members of the R.I. Republican Party, including Governor Carcieri, and the convention's official delegates. They'll be led by Rhode Island House Republican leader Robert Watson who in a Sunday Journal story about the delegation, Watson told another Journal political reporter, Scott MacKay: "We Republicans will be united this year. We won't have the distractions and divisiveness of the Democrats, and I just think it remains to be seen just how cohesive the Democrats are as they emerge from Denver." And here's the list of R.I.
