Governor Carcieri is slated to do a phone interview on Lou Dobbs' radio program tomorrow in the 2:15 to 2:30 p.m. range, according to the governor's schedule. Amy Kempe, spokeswoman for the governor, said by e-mail that immigration will be one topic they'll discuss, but that the interview may also cover matters such as national economy and the presidential election. Kempe said it is a rescheduled interview on the nationally syndicated show. Earlier this month, projo.com's politics blog reported that Dobbs wanted the governor to share his views on immigration for a radio audience. In April, Carcieri appeared on Dobbs' nationally televised CNN program. The governor's office, projo.com reported on Sept. 10, was working to arrange a time and date for the appearance. |
