Don't miss Governor Carcieri tonight on Fox TV. The governor is scheduled to appear with Bill O'Reilly on The O'Reilly Factor. The interview will be taped early in the day and aired at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., according to the governor's office. "The topic of the conversation will be the governor's executive order on illegal immigration," according to the news release. Carcieri was initially scheduled to appear on the national broadcast in mid-May, but the taping was postponed without explanation. In April, the governor appeared on CNN's Lou Dobbs Tonight to discuss his immigration policies. -- Journal staff CommentsLeave a comment |

Governor Carcieri,
Great Job!!! It is nice to see a leader representing the issues that Rhode Islanders are concerned about. People who voted you into office admire how you have chipped away at the tenacious obstacles that have confronted you. I for one who is still fighting for my home that was illegally foreclosed by a predatory lender and purchased by a hometown "connected" politician/lawyer and his business associate broker/realtor understand the importance of cleaning up the government.
