Rhode Island’s liberal blogosphere will be represented at the Democratic National Convention in Denver this August. Matthew Jerzyk, founder of RIFuture.org, has been chosen by the Democratic National Committee to be the state’s official party blogger at the confab. The national committee picked one blogger from each state to participate in an expanded blogging effort. The bloggers were chosen from a pool of bloggers who cover state and local politics in their respective states. Under the rules for the August convention, Jeryzk and his colleagues from the other states will receive unprecedented access to state delegations and the convention floor. The chosen bloggers will be seated with state delegations and also have floor privileges.
