Valerie Plame Wilson, the former CIA agent whose leaked identity to the media led to political controversy and the conviction of a high-ranking Bush administration official on perjury and obstruction of justice charges, will signs copies of her book and speak at Brown University on Dec. 4. The talk starts at 8 p.m. in Salomon Center for Teaching, Room 101. She will sign copies of Fair Game: My life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House, after the lecture. The free lecture is open to the public on a space-available basis. Brown students, faculty, and staff will have priority seating until 7:45 p.m. Doors will open to the public at that time. Plame's husband, retired Ambassador Joseph Wilson, spoke at Brown in 2005. CommentsLeave a comment |

Valeriie Plame was NEVER an Agent. The Agency does NOT have CIA Agents. They are called Operatives. She MAY have been an Analyst.
Thanks.

Any chance anyone will hold her feet to the fire, or is this going to be another softball appearance sponsored by the liberal biased media?
I'm guessing she will be cheered as a hero even though she pretty much lied about everything out of her and her husbands personal distaste for Bush.
Funny how she went from a top secret undercover CIA agent that everyone in Washington knew about to a celebrity that everyone in the country knows about, don't you think?

Valerie Plame was a covert operative, with a covert identity as part of a front-business while she was working on counter-proliferation. Yes, WMD counter-proliferation, and particularly on WMD's in Iraq. She WAS a COVERT OPERATIVE for years, and much of that work is still classified by the CIA. This was established in the Congressional investigation on Plamegate and in Scooter's indictment.
Check your facts, guys. You are spreading lies. The more you arbitrarily mock liberals the more you sound like mindless sycophant. This is doubly true when you're unequivocally wrong.

Ms. Plame lost her job because the president of the USA ruined her career protecting the USA. Plame was in a position to notice the deception going on in the White House towards you - an American citizen.
She can no longer work as an operative, so she has to make money somehow - by reminding US citizens that her career was ruined for trying to protect the US populace from deception.
Now really, who's at fault here?
