Training is Thursday
The National Alliance on Mental Illness -- Rhode Island will hold an advocacy training on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Cranston Public Library, 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd.
Featured speaker will be Joe Brummer, of the Rhode Island Council of Community Mental Health Organizations. He’ll address topics including how a bill becomes law and the nuts and bolts of advocacy.
The training is free. Pizza and refreshments will be served. If interested in attending, reply by tomorrow by calling (401) 331-3060.
