The group will honor 10 young Democrats who “played an instrumental role in the 2006 elections through running campaigns or registering voters or building political power,” according to a release announcing the event.

The recipients are:

•Lindsey Brickle, 24, campaign manager for Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline

•Jim Cenerini, 33, political organizer for Council 94, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees

•Arianne M. Corrente, consultant for the “Yes on 9” affordable-housing ballot-question campaign

•Xay Khamsyvoravong, 22, campaign manager for General Treasurer Frank T. Caprio
