U.S. Sen. Lincoln Chafee's campaign manager dismissed television reports that projected his challenger, Sheldon Whitehouse, as the winner.
"I think Channel 10 and Channel 12 are going to have a whole lot of egg over their face…by the time it’s over," Chafee campaign manager Ian Lang said.
"We think the numbers are moving our way," he said. “We feel very confident…I think at the end of the night there’s going to be a big surprise.”
